SUMMER FOOD OUTREACH
help us serve children and families THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER in our community.
600 Children
Last summer, churches helped serve approximately 600 children through the summer food program.
650 Grocery Bags
Families also received 650 bags of groceries throughout the summer.
3 Locations This Year
This summer, the program continues at Whispering Pines and Suburban Acres and expands into Leesburg at Clover Park.
Church Teams Needed
We are looking for teams of 4–5 people to prepare and serve a simple meal on Tuesday evenings.
WHY THIS MATTERS⸻
HELP CLOSE THE SUMMER MEAL GAP
Every summer, when school is out, many children in our community lose access to the consistent meals they rely on during the school year. For some families, that leaves a real gap.
Last summer, churches stepped into that gap in a powerful way. What may have seemed like a simple meal became something much greater — a reminder to children and families that their community sees them, cares for them, and is willing to show up.

LOCATION SIGNUPS
Use the links below to sign your church up for a Tuesday evening at one of the three locations.
- Suburban Acres — serve dinner and distribute groceries
- Whispering Pines — serve after AGATIAS soccer from 5:00–6:00 PM
- Clover Park — help launch the new Leesburg location
OTHER WAYS TO HELP
THERE ARE STILL MANY WAYS TO SERVE
If members of your church would like to help but are not available on Tuesdays, there are still many ways to serve throughout the summer.
-
Pack grocery bags for weekly distribution
-
Help host the program at three Milford sites on Mondays
-
Join a team to oversee and care for community gardens at Whispering Pines and Suburban Acres
Our first day of grocery packing will be May 17 2-4 and the next day of packing will be June 28th 2-4.
We are grateful for volunteers like you that continue to show up for the children in our community. Your willingness to serve makes a real difference.
